Welcome to Easystrummers. The Easystrummers goal is to help you acquire some necessary, basic skills and enable you to play songs quickly. Good guitar players learn to play through plenty of practice. Poor practice design embeds bad habits in techniques that are difficult, if not impossible, to undo. There are many websites, videos, books, etc. that claim to teach new guitar players how to play. The majority of these sites bore the reader with theory, scales and note reading that is simply unnecessary for many guitar players. There are many instructors that simply go to fast for the beginning guitarist to learn anything. The Easystrummers goal is to get you playing songs as soon as you begin to play guitar. Rather than learn scales and exercises that most of us will never use, you will learn the necessities of playing guitar and sound good while you do it. Many lessons are currently available on DVD as well as chord diagrams, explanations, guitar information, text files and more to come! I will be adding to the lesson tutorials often so please check back if you do not see what you are looking for. Also please feel free to use my requests link to submit a song that you would love to learn. All songs listed are my personal interpretation of the song. With a little practice with my lessons you will be playing your favorite songs in no time without the need of reading music and utilizing theory. |
