Chords are
the basis for all guitar playing. If you can play a few chords, you
can play a lot of songs. An absolute beginner may find learning
basic chords frustrating. Many new guitarists give up after only a
few attempts of learning chords.
My lessons will have you learning numerous chords and progressions
useful not only for my lessons, but for many other songs.
To learn chords you have to train your hands. After you have trained
your hands to make the chords you want to learn, you will be able to
create you own music and learn songs that you never thought you
could play. Some chords are more difficult to become accustomed to
and will require a longer timeframe before you can play them
smoothly. It would be wise for a beginner to choose three or four
chords and learn them well before moving on. To make learning chords
interesting, choose a group that follow a progression such as A, D
and E. With these three chords you could play many songs.
